Hey Homemakers & Bakers,

I’ve sat here at the computer for what feels like hours. It’s time for a new newsletter but can I just be honest with you? I have nothing profound to share. I’ve even asked myself what would I want to hear from me right now? What could I possibly say to encourage myself? Want to know why it feels so hard? Because I have been living life.

As I’m harvesting veggies from my small garden, I don’t think how this could inspire my readers. As I’m meal prepping for the upcoming busy fall, I don’t stop and think I should be videoing this. I’m just present. In the moment. Doing what needs to be done. Doing what I love.

I have spent my evenings in my garden making sure everything is getting plenty of water. My yellow lab, Autumn usually accompanies me looking for snakes. For some silly reason, she thinks it’s a game when I yell, “Autumn, snake!” She runs into action, roots it out and takes care of it for me.

My mornings have been spent making breakfast and doubling the recipe to freeze for future use when life is so busy. I turn on my coffee pot, make a yummy cup using raw milk, raw honey and sea salt. My coffee pot is amazing. My husband and I invested in a Breville for Christmas this last year and it was the best investment ever!!! Worth every penny! Check it out HERE!

I have been baking bread and treats throughout the day. I have 3 loaves of bread sitting on my counter. A jalapeno cheddar loaf, regular loaf and a roasted garlic and rosemary loaf. Rosemary from the garden, I may add! This week, I plan on making sourdough lemon sweet rolls and sourdough chocolate peanut butter sweet rolls!

I just completed a three-day liquid-only fast with a group of women, during which we prayed for our husbands. We each experienced significant breakthroughs. While my husband hasn’t been dealing with anything specific, it’s always important to keep our men covered in prayer. I realized I hadn’t been praying for him as much or as consistently as I should, even though I had written a devotion on the very topic. It truly is a privilege and honor to pray for and cover our spouses in prayer.

In a nutshell, life is happening….at home.
